I am more pro EU, but of course that is the question, what for EU we mean. for me the EU is just a territory without borders and I don't want the borders in Europe again (way I should?).

> Also, the same level of freedom of speech would be, if sirian journalist would say on BBC that UK (like other countries) has no right to drop bombs on Siria and that it is a war agression and war crime. (and that would be the truth, unlike the fairy tales about russian army in Donbass!) But you will never heard things like that on BBC. So because of it, I still believe, that russian media are much more free, that europe or usa media. quoted1

Military interventions — like in Syria — are freely criticized in the UK, they are freely discussed etc.
IN Russia — if Putin decides to intervene in any conflict — there is no discussion in Parliament, no vote and if there is a vote — it is a formality — to back Putin's decision.
Cameron's Government in 2013 — on the other hand — found itself in isolation when the British Parliament voted against the American- British intervention in Syria. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/aug/29/sy...

The EU will exist in some sort of shape or form — the countries will have to trade with each other, but the UK will not support the current EU model. bell2 (bell2)

We have always had a border and always will have. Right now — there is an agreement being drawn up re the Irish border (the border between the Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK and the Republic of IReland, which is an EU country). Britain will cease to be the EU member on the 19 the of March 2019, although there will be the transitional period till the 19 March 2021.

Well, the diference is that Putin don't started military intervention-- it is just «military help», because about it was agreement with Assad. And Assad still represent Siria in UN, also is recognised from world community as legitim goverment of Siria.
I am not sure, if Parlament voted for air strikes in Siria. But it is not really important, because that is agains international law anyway. With or without support of parlament

The British Parliament's vote in 2013 made sure that Cameron's Government didn't go ahead with the military strikes in Syria

Such a vote is impossible in Russia, as Russia is not a democracy, but a regime.

The question is just, how easily I can cross the border. Must I wait 5 hours or so.
And of course if you change the country sometimes you need social benefits in the new country (what is main argument of UKIP and others against EU). For me it is argument for EU, not that I plan to change the county, but you never know the future.
But I think the real problem is the euro-currency, that do not works, not the EU.

Your English is quite good, it is a revelation for me on the forum — I wouldn't have ever assumed you - of all people — can speak decent English. bell2 (bell2)

The Euro Currency was designed to work primarily for German Economic interests. When it was launched — effectively — Germany devalued its currency and the currency of the Mediterranean countries was overvalued. For example, when Greece had Drahma — its exports within the EU were very competitive, when it joined the Euro Currency — they ceased to be so. In the meantime — Germany — flooded the European market with its goods and at the same time has always resisted opening the EU market to other countries — like the US for instance. So the Mediterranean countries ended up with no choice, Germany imposed a lot of poverty on those countries. They have degraded massively since the EU project was launched. Britain has never joined the Euro, never will and the German version of the EU project is up - over and out. Noone wants it anymore — whether you like it or not.
