Actually, I am starting to doubt her now, like a lot of other people too. Obviously, I will still vote for her as there is no real choice — Corbyn is totally bonkers. But — effectively — she attacked the middle class in her pre election manifesto and that's bad. The Tories are traditionally seen as the party of the middle classes — those with aspirations. And their policies have been aimed traditionally at reducing the heavy tax burden on the middle classes. There is nothing in the manifesto about raising the threshold bar for the inheritance tax — yet the fuel payments for the pensioners will be means tested (this has been a universal benefit up to now — everyone got the cheque through the post — doesn't matter how well off they are, now the middle class pensioners won't get this payment). That is just one example. My husband thinks that she just wants to get Labour voters on her side, wants to show she is on the side of the working class and that's working. Traditional Labour heartlands up North are loving it and many intend to vote for her. She is also obsessed with reducing immigration — and that appeals to UKIP voters. So — the strategy is working — many Labour voters are swinging to the Tory camp — the record amount of Labour voters intend to vote for May. And UKIP has been pretty much decimated as a party Their goal was Referendum and Brexit and now noone needs them — the Tories took over and «ran away with it». Farage said he would only come back as UKIP leader if May doesn't go through with the Brexit properly — if she «deceives» the British public (as he says). A lot of traditional Tory voters have been ringing LBC all day criticizing the Manifesto, but that's not going to stop them voting for her — because the alternative is unthinkable — Corbyn , SNP, and Libdem Coalition — that's just madness- especially during this important time of trying to sort out the new arrangement with the EU.

I like how they compare her with Trump. She has kind of bad message, but her team executed flawlessly. Trump, on the other hand, has a popular message, but a horrendous execution.
