http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/...

You know, we have so many polls coming out all the time giving totally different results, it's unreal. Depends on the paper that did the survey, etc. The Leftie paper like the Guardian will always have opinions skewed towards the Remainers, the Telegraph - the Leavers, etc. If you switch on the LBC (Leading Britain's Conversation) - some are phoning in and saying they wish they voted for Brexit, others - changed their mind the other way and don't want it anymore. In all honesty, most people are quite cool about it now. The vote can't be reversed. So even IF (hypothetically speaking, as it ain't possible - no way) Labour won the election on the 8the of June - there's zilch they could do about reversing the vote, but Corbyn would never get a good deal from the EU. As far as the EU is concerned, the Labour are what we call "laydowns". They would roll over and take anything that's coming without any fight. The Tories are totally different. Most Labour voters also prefer May to take on the job of negotiating the exit, as people are pragmatic and realize very well - she is the one to get us a good deal. As for the 65 billion Euros - I posted about it months ago in my EU thread on the English forum - it's a no goer. There will be a lot of outrageous demands on both sides - that is expected in the negotiation of this nature, but that's not to say all this is to be taken seriously. Having said that, to be honest, I think we will definitely have to continue to pay them fees for a few years at least partially - (around £12 billion a year I think or something like that) -as there are joint projects with the EU that Britain signed up to whilst in the EU and Britain will most certainly honour its commitments.

Not in the UK. In the UK we have always been in the state of Semi Brexit and Brexit now is not seen as some sort of jump off of a cliff edge, it is just a different arrangement. Fundamentally, UK's always been the bridge between the US and Europe and the new arrangement will only strengthen that. Now, I'll take time and try and explain to you where you are going wrong in your analysis. You label people populists, bigots , fascists - whatever, who voted for Trump and Brexit and that's just plain wrong. And precisely the reason why we ended up with these results. You know, all those you consider stupid and all those politicians you considered nuts - somehow they are on the rise. And why? Because the Liberal elites let people down. When the mood among the population - like hostility to immigration, etc. - started to rise - instead of dealing with the issue - like putting support in place - education , opportunities, improvements in the infrastructure - the Liberal elites just dismissed those people as "bigots and not worthy of attention". Now they got the results - staring them in their faces. But to deal with any issue, one has to admit that the issue exists in the first place and the Liberal elite didn't. Just a few years ago Farage was dismissed as "lunatic" , but he won the EU Parliament election and relised his dream of the Referendum and leading the country out of the EU. And ONLY THEN the Liberal elites here changed their rhetoric and are willing to address concerns. Take France for example. France - there is a lot more racism there than in the UK, it is generally a less tolerant country. Le Pen is on the rise there. She will obviously ( and fortunately ) lose the election, but she was the second in the running (think about that for a second !!!) and this is not the last election. What will happen in the next one? You can't just dismiss and label people that can vote Governments into power . This is not the Soviet Union you see, such is life. Britain and the US have always been in the a-vangarde of the political developments. And thank God that in our countries we have sensible mainstream parties - pragmatically dealing with the issues posed.

It is easy to blame Liberal elite, but they are the brains, and you cannot do anything without brains, nowadays. I watch TV a lot, and I have yet to see one smart person that I respect, speaking positively about BRexit. And if British society is split right now, what will happened, when real consequence start to kick in?

You are wrong here as well. The brains are the brains and being Liberal does come as part of it , but that's not what I meant by "Liberal Elites." What I meant by it was the previous Governments, that let people down - including the BRAINS - the City - all the uncertainty they brought upon us when they could have done everything to prevent it. If you hear people moping on the TV about Brexit, then forget it. What's there to be moping about? It is happening and we seem to be OK. It seems you are panicking much more than me, there's no need.
