People talk about her, olympic champion from Canada said she is exquisite, ex US national champ said she is his fave and etc. She has more views on youtube than 95% of senior ladies. That puts pressure on ISU officials. They will have to think twice before making that decision.

Alena is amazing — I actually have been sharing your videos with my friends -workmates, my daughter, my daughter has been sharing with her mates at the ballet school and so on — she is amazing. Nothing can take it away from her and the others (other A's).Or in fact Medvedeva or Zagitova. On top of their outstanding figure skating abilities, they have been showcasing something more — a tremendous appeal to the world and the beauty that can't be beaten by any score setting. It is just precious and priceless. They appeal to the world. They will succeed, cause beauty and talent always win . I hope the Russians will be able to get over all the obstacles put in their way to get the proper recognition they deserve; Let's hope they will turn Senior before any attempts to introduce the law ,that denies the common sense ,takes place.

You know, lots of things here happened in music industry. Anyone talented - obviously talented - had to break through - literally doors and doors and put up tons of fight - before they could even hit the stage. Like Freddy for example, the Verve, Adele , etc - in music industry it is common.
With sports it is similar in a way with figure skating definitely - it seems. Hard work.

As for me, Canada is the most influential in figure skating, Russia and US share the 2nd place and Japans is 3rd.

I didn't tell you there were Canadian nationals just a week ago, here is Canadian ladies champion for you

In case you think I'm kidding here is the results page
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Canadian_Figu...

1 st place Alaine Chartrand 185.91

I know you aren't a pro in figure skating but I bet you will easly determine how many chances Alaine has against AAA

None whatsoever obviously.

No need to thank me, it is very unlikely that my kind words will change anything, I am sorry I can't help in any way, other than sharing my adoration for their skating with my «bohemian» and cultural mates here. I can hardly insist my husband's Golf club publishes any concerns about figure skating rules in their Golf club magazine. I wish I could do more. But my heart is with them, and like we say here in England — it is the heart that counts.

This is a great track by the Script (an Irish rock band) — this is the video from the London Olympics, but the message is for all the athletes in general in all kinds of sports — just a powerful athlete supporting track if you like

Hall of Flame — just an uplifting track for sports lovers of all kind and even in corporate environment training they use it sometimes in «team building activities events», just an empowering track

Grin (25771),

Hi, you know — all these politics is such a load of crap really.
I went to my youngest son's Assembly and I was so proud, everyone calls my son «dinasaur boy», ««««««««««, I wish I could tell you my last name, it is so posh, you would love it. I will see if I can insert a picture of him. The whole Assembley was singing and dancing and then they said «Here are our scientists» and they trolleyed out a huge skeleton and my Daniel had all the lines saying this is this organ and this and that. I was so proud. I will send a pic to you in private messaging.

Alina will skate in 5 minutes. Alina wasn't looking very confident during the warmup. I wish her confidence and luck

How are you? How is the new job going and all that? I hope it is all going well for you.

I put up a fight in my workplace for my previous manager, — to stop people from badmouthing him after he left, they wanted first to suspend me for it, threatened a disciplinary and now they are promoting me. It is crazy. The English are crazy.

I'm fine thanks. They made me a proposal, but it wasn't what I expected. They are thinking now about another variant. It will take some time.

You did great, very brave of you! Your family should be proud!
