I am just pissed off by all these trolls and chauvinistic nonsense some people are posting here, so I am reading more and more cultural connected threads. If you read my recent messages, most of them are our conversation and some posts of mine in Convent's movie thread. Actually, do you read it? quoted1
No, I am ashamed to admit I actually don't read Enot and Reptiloid's movie thread. I should have started from the very beginning, but I didn't and now I think there's no point, as I missed so much of it anyways. Oleksa Єromіn (WILDTRACER) wrote in reply to post:
> Yes, I've been wondering… How do you, British, Canadian, American, Australian and so on differ each other? You speak the same language, read the same books and listen to the same music. Despite all of that similarities and such little differences you do not think of yourself as a great Anglo-Saxon nation. What is the point? >
Well first of all — they differ a lot to those who perceive them from the side, but within — they don't differ that much. A while ago, when I visited Australia — I thought that Australia was a total different planet from the UK, it felt uncomfortable re language, their accent is so strong, etc. But my British relatives felt at home completely, joked with them, imitated accents, etc. Sometimes I ask my husband's uncle Geoffrey who is retired in Florida — you have lived in the States for so long, why didn't you pick up their accent? And he says, because I am English and it is not me that should speak like them, it is them who should try and speak like me.
But at the same time — the English — they are very objective by nature and recognize the goodness that happens outside of their little island and encourage it. Probably that is the key to their success. They are very self critical, have a lot of humility and common sense. Etc. I don't know really.

> Hi all. It was really hard week for me. Despite being ill I had to work on Sunday. And today and yesterday I came home at 22:00. But I have a small vacation next week. Сan't wait for it. quoted1
You poor thing. I hope they are paying you good money for overtime. I have a day off tomorrow, gonna go trick or treating with my kids at night and have to sort out the costumes during the day tomorrow. My littlest Daniel wants to go as Springtrap. And they don't sell any costumes like that. I don't know what I am gonna do about it yet, my husband has some ideas though — how to make a costume like that. Jesus.

The pictures are absolutely beautiful, the first lot was as well.
My Dad spent a few years in Sakhalin as a kid — it is a long story, his Dad (my grandfather, he is dead now) did something wrong and they sent them there or they had to go (I don't remember the whole story now, he doesn't like to talk about it in detail). But he earned enough money then to come back to Western Ukraine and build his own house. My Dad remembers that at the time (I am talking years and years ago) — there was so much caviar in Sakhalin — they fed it to stray cats, but there was not enough bread and butter to put it on.
> I don't care even if she is 3rd or 7th, I will watch her skating. She is amazing. And there are some signs she is regaining her former competitive form. I'm so happy about it. Gtg now, have a nice evening!
Guys — this stuff came out — it;s proper Avangard stuff. This is a compilation of Five Nights at Freddie's stuff (one of FNAF tracks so to speak). This is what my 8 year old is into right now. Look at all the animatronics , etc. — the track is beautiful as well. This stuff is proper, core — it's proper.
My littelest went as Sprintrap for trick or treating, Vicky - as the Circus Babe (That is from FNAF as well, that character), my oldest went for a Haloween party with a schoolmate, he is growing out now of the trick or treating age, he is 12 .
P. S. Kids these days are «machine age» kids; This is a super machine age now, all these video games, ets. Fairy tales were different in my childhood age, But this is bloody amazing, fascinating. I think we'll have robots all over the place soon.
