Hi, glad to talk to you again.
Unfortunately the problem with this forum is still there and it takes several minutes to post a message or to turn a page. It is very annoying to watch white screen and hope it won't show error page in the end.
I will definitely watch your pics, but I'd better do it upon returning to Moscow.
Have a nice evening)

I know majority of tourists at Cyprus are Brits. So, probably, you were there already. That's why I won't post many photos, only very few I like the most

Btw, today was another junior gran prix stage (this time in Austria).
Alena Kostornaya was in a class of her own. She was portraing an angel skating to Departure (Lullaby) by Max Richter.
I knew she won the competition the very moment she finished her skate.

What do you think about her short program? Please feel free to criticise, you won't offend me.

British skater Anastasia Vaipan-Law wasn't perfect today. But she has improved since last year. And it was nice to see her in a fighting mood this time. She didn't give up. Some Russian male skaters lack this quality.

lovely pics. Very typical nice Med (Mediterranean) resort. I actually only went to Cyprus once — with a boyfriend, was a teen back then (18) - I can barely remember the experience as we were out of it most of the time (drinking, partying, etc) - it was in Ayia Napa, his name was Steve, we saw each other only for a few months, then we broke up.

Did you see my pics from the Isle of Wight — this was a super holiday. I have one more holiday to «look forward to» — we are off to Paris mid October. Going to Disneyland again. Because it is my kids' birthdays (all born October) — the reason I took in quotes «look forward to» — is because it is gonna be a half term, very busy, etc. But we have a super pass for Disney Paris — we jump the queue now — for a lot of rides. Plus we will have a couple of days in Paris itself anyway, so it is not too bad. We are going to be there when my little girl's birthday is gonna be — 20th of October and she is gonna be made a «princess» — it is a Disney experience in Paris Disneyland — she is so happy.

I will watch it at some point and make a comment, although — like I said, I don't know anything about this. Why do you keep asking for my opinion on figure skating is beyond me. Russians are the best in figure skating, I told you that already. What more do you want?
Anyway, life is great Sorry — I am in a very good mood today, we had some great family news today.
Cyprus was a British Colony as well by the way, did you know?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Cyprus

So — pray to Britain, who made it so nice for you to visit the place. I am just kidding

Becase you have good taste

And if you accidently enter any thread about «is it a good program or not» it will probably look like

So I wanted to hear an opinion from a neutral person.

Isle of Wight is great, for kids especially. Very educational. There are dinosaur parks, aqua parks, the zoo, lovely village atmosphere, lots of lovely nature and the sea of course. And the cliffs are absolutely beautiful. For our kids — it is their favorite place, they appreciate it a lot more than any holidays abroad. Actually, the UK in general is much more beautiful than anything on the Continent. It is actually a lot more expensive to holiday in the UK and the weather is never guaranteed. The Isle of Wight is more expensive than Nice and Monaco. It is cheaper abroad - the Med, etc. And it is always sunny there Even the ferry tickets are more expensive than the air fare to some European countries. But it is well worth it.. Isle of Wight also hosts fantastic festivals. Every June there is a fantastic music festival there, Better than Glastonbury. Next year 's Music festival tickets are already being sold. They sell out quite quickly — well in advance. Next year the festival will be very special, as it is going to be the Isle of Wight 50th Music Festival Anniversary. https://isleofwightfestival.com/line-up

I watched the videos. Alena Kostornaya is tops. So on point, it is unreal. Just impeccable, faultless performance. And very artistic. Musicality — tops. I loved the music as well, the violins especially (I used to play violin myself in my childhood).
And to me she is better than Medvedeva, classier. She looks classier and acts classier. She has that high class appearance — like a ballerina really. Medvedeva overplays it a bit with her expressions — they are a tad too sexual — almost as if she is coming (slang for having an orgasm) or something. Don't get me wrong, it is not all bad but it borders on vulgarity a little, just a bit too glam. This one is just beautiful, period.
I am not going to comment on the British one's performance, cause clearly — it leaves a lot to be desired and doesn't stand a chance compared to Kostornaya.

It is hard to find a place in the world that didn't use to be British at some point in time, isn't there?

Did you meet any Brits on holiday? And during the excursions — did they say nice things about the UK? I hope so.
