At least those who came don't trust your media too much, that alone makes them smarter than the rest of the fandom ^^
I find it funny some of your newspapers lamenting English fans are outnumbered here in Russia. Why lament if you put all your efforts to prevent them from going to this world championship?

Best time to visit Russia is a big national holiday or jubilee.
9th May will do, you can also go to https://kudamoscow.ru/
it may help you to plan your visit.
Yesterday my friend from Canada told me he is sad because he couldn't go to this world championship.
I felt a bit strange at that moment because I have opportunity to by tickets but I don't feel like I really want to watch it live.

Well, Alina is still the only senior lady capable of doing 3lz-3lo and 3f-3lo. I know Evgenia did it at her practise sessions, but she never did it at competitions.

I will tell you straight. The media has been shit if not utterly disgusting (excuse my French (- the media has stunk all the way through. But I wrote here multiple times that fans never cared — not because they love Russia or anything like that, they actually don't give an ef where it takes place. God, it is so hard to explain it to a Russian what the English mentality is. People don't rely on media or state or anyone as much as they do in Russia, they just rely on themselves. IT's just the way that is. If that is messed with in any way — they will protest. Otherwise — the politicians can do whatever they like. The only person people here genuinely love is the Queen. But she is out of politics.

Okay, can you tell me why so few English fans came to Russia this time (compared to countries like Colombia for example)

Noone trusts the media here. See the post above. This is nor Russia — this is not dictatorship, but democracy. People will gather something from the media — news and that, but they won' be forming any opinions that are imposed on them by the media, like it happens in Russia. So — drop it mate, it's a no go. Your arguments are only applicable to Russia.

I am off work sick otherwise I wouldn't be posting here obviously, but I am on very strong medication now, cause my hayfever turned out to be not just hayfever but a very bad flu. It is my daughter's watching day today at her ballet school — that means this is the last day of ballet school, and the parents are allowed to watch the class performance but I am not even sure I am going to be able to make it. I will try - it is at 6.15 pm.

I'm not arguing, I'm just curious, why little and less wealthy (compared the UK) Colombia has more fans at this world championship than England.

Because the Russians never bothered to advertise Jack shit here (that is slang for «nothing). But still — the core earnings the country will scoop - will be from the English fans, as they are wealthy, unlike Colombians and etc.

I feel for you. Hate to be ill especially if it hurt eyes.
You'd better have some rest. Meds can be tricky, they remove pain, you can feel better but you have to rest or it can get worse. I usually listen to the audiobooks when I'm ill

I am having plenty of rest, my eyes are fine now — the GP gave me the tablets and drops and my eyes are fine, I just have a very high fever (temperature), and nothing seems to be knocking it down. But they put me on antibiotics, and that takes a while to kick in — maybe a couple of days, but I am going to work tomorrow — I have no choice, I have a meeting with a client and my workmates can't fill in, cause he wants to see me and me only (this is a long story, but I know his investment portfolio arrangements very well and he just wants to see me).
