Terrible. I hate it when my cat kills birds, she still does it.

There's just no need for it, is there? Soft power should stay soft, that is the power of it.

Since Adelina Sotnikova won 2014 Olympics over famous Korean skater Yuna Kim they went completely crazy about it to the point that official youtube figure skating streams are geoblocked in South Korea.

Yeah, it is allright to admire skaters, but to hate others for admiring someone else — well, it is not good.

You know — funny thing, we are on the Southern coast of mainland Spain at the moment, staying in this fantastic 5 star hotel — full of the English folk — it’s basically all geared up for the English — the food, entertainment — the lot, the Spanish are lovely — at the shops, etc — Sir/Madam — would you like this or that — falling over their feet to please. However, this morning went on a private boat to Gibraltar- the British territory by law!!!!- and well, they make it difficult to go to Gibraltar- they check everything, the queue to get in — is massive, they already are trying to treat it as their own territory, it is crazy, I made a pic of the queue at the border- it is nuts, takes like — 2 hours to get through. I will post some pics later, I have to go at the moment.

Hi, I'm fine. Thanks. Glad you are living your best life right now.

I don't think it is wise for Spain to treat British tourists like that. I mean 2 hours queue. It's literally like crossing Ukrainian-Russian border when you enter Crimea from Ukraine. I think there are many ways for Spain to make their position clear without these checks and queues.

Thank you so much, you are lovely. Gibraltar is 100% white English, going there- you know — after multicultural cosmopolitan London — is like going back in time. It is a proper English place- architecture, culture, the people- the lot.
You — each time I go to the Med in general — France, Spain, Italy — every year it is poorer and poorer here, how dare the EU lovers criticise Russia- it seems in Russia they are getting richer, not poorer. Over here — there’s a lot of poverty. The difference in the standard of living between Spain and Gibraltar is striking, Gibraltar is much much better.

Hi, very nice pics. I have hardly taken any pics here so far - can’t be bothered to be honest. We went whale and dolphin spotting, but left our phones at the hotel. We are mostly at the resort all day — swimming, eating, resting. Almería is very different from Costa del Sol or Costa Brava or the islands like Ibiza. There is hardly any nightlife outside the resorts and on the resorts- it is just families with kids like us - mostly English and it is a bit like being in England. During the day most shops are closed for siesta. There is a wild zoo here somewhere- we will explore that, but at the moment- feeling very lazy- it is hot. We are on the very Southern coast, the sea is very warm, but there are hardly any trees at all — lots of palm trees and cactuses, there apparently is a desert- not far from here — they say it is the only desert in Europe — I forgot what it is called. Almería is a part of Andalusia. We are not having many boat trips either, cause my littlest got a mini sunstroke when we went to Gibraltar, — the sun here is strong.

Grin (25771),

To be honest — I am getting a bit bored. My husband went to Portugal for a couple of days (a day and a half) — back here Friday. He didn’t take us with him, as he said there was no point, as he was going to spend the time at the estate agents and meetings with solicitors (lawyers). We hired a car for the whole 14 days and I wanna go and explore, but the kids made lots of friends and want to just play by the pool all day. Their friends are English kids- from Leeds, Manchester, London. And the parents are English — all dog tired and all they wanna do is lie on the sun loungers by the pool and talk about Brexit. And they are moaning all the time and complaining about the hotel — how say — the steak is not cooked like in England or this or that is no good. I have to listen to it all day. I am thinking to myself, not saying it out loud obviously- «it is a great 5 star hotel, if you want your steak the way it is cooked in England — go back to England, why did you come to Spain in the first place? "
Anyway, I hope we will have some fantastic boat trips after my husband gets back to the resort — the kids don’t wanna go without him and to be honest — I am reluctant to take them out of the resort on my own myself.
