> This guy — Oleg Alekseevich Zubkov is Taygan Park owner. Lions think of him like he is part of their pride, elder lion may be. And in lions pride there is a strict hierarchy and the youngest females and at the bottom of it. This young lioness has mind of a lion cub, but the lion reminded her that she isn't a lion cub already and she has to follow the rules of the pride.
> It's a big deal for me. It helps to preserve and improve my English. And talking to you is really interesting. quoted1
Thank you very much, the same here. Your English is fantastic, considering you live in Russia — if you had a British flag — I wouldn't be able to say you don't live in Britain, honestly. Like I said — a lot of Russians living here have a much worse command of English compared to yours. It is true.
In this case, it is better to put it like this «I bet you found it very memorable». «Memories» is a better word here, not «impressions». «Impressions» is when something made a particular impression — good or bad, struck you, surprised you, etc.

Thanks. I had a feeling something is wrong in my sentence.
> But tigers are more dangerous as well. As far as I remember they don't allow tourists to come close to tigers (with some exceptions like very kind tigress Vasilisa).I remember a terrible story from Chinese safari park where tigers killed a woman. I don't post the video here because it's horrible to see.
Tigers are different animals, they are not pack animals, they are wild, more difficult to domesticate, impossible. But they are so formidably gorgeous looking. Such a shame Chinese hunted them almost all down for medicine. Chinese believe in medicines made out of Tigers dicks -they sell it for fortunes amongst one another thinking it will give them luck and strength and all that.
Vasilisa is not kinder than others, she is just very motherly and got domesticated easily. But — I googled Taygan recently and found lots of articles in the press here that that zoo keeper is the best in the world and things like that — https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5803801...
The English love things like that — they would love that Taygan Zoo — for them this would be the greatest selling point of Crimea I think. A friend of mine 's wife (my colleague's wife) — well, she saw your videos with little lion and tiger cubs and she has been nagging him to go there ever since. They are absolutely mad about animals in this country. It is their soft spot.
Btw, you know there are little cute animals called quokka? They live in Australia. Many people like to make selfies with them.
Quokka always look like they are happy. I liked to watch them too. But recently I learned that quokka mother can throw her baby to a predator to save her own life. After I learned that I don't enjoy them that much.
And you. You know — you talked about memories. We looked a lot at family photos yesterday — my husband's family and today when we were at my parents' - at our family photos — me as a little kid, etc. It was just — well, I cried. So great. I am gonna play this song — that is how I felt basically — it is called «Memories» by Barbara Streizand- it is a classic of all time.
Barbra Streisand — The Way We Were — Lyrics
There is another one — that is a modern take on it — Beyoncé's t tribute to the song — she did a great job

I have been to Australia. And had a pic with a koala, saw Kangaroos, etc. I have a friend in the States who has a Kanga park. This was a while ago, I will find the pics, I have to find the disc on which they are saved. I want to take my kids to Australia. They would love it there — well, apart from spiders — they are massive there.
