To be honest I learned it from that «lego legolas» meme ages ago

What to you think about engagement ring piercing?

It looks weird to me. May be it will do for a rebellious teen.

I had such an utter stressful day today. Our new CEO came to meet us and he spent some time with me observing my meeting with a customer, who is one of the most annoying men in the world that I have ever met — he has an attitude like you wouldn't believe, thinks he is «the big I am» even though he is by far not the richest client on our books and with quite a modest investment portfolio. But f"ck, does he have the stinking attitude. When he left, the CEO said to me «You handled that very well, I honestly would have told him to f*ck off and take his business elsewhere. For two reasons — firstly, he is not worth it — moneywise, secondly — such people will cause trouble for the company some way down the line — just for the sake of it, make a complaint to get compensation or whatever. So it is better not to do any business with people like that to start off with». But the deal is done already, so — too late. To be honest — I just switch off emotionally when dealing with clients. There is a goal in the back of my mind and that is that. That is why brokers like to buy luxury goods — one of the reasons, as one needs to reward oneself cause of dealing with so much stress.

To be honest, I personally never got into tatoos or body piercings, I just have my ears pierced and that is that. I don't like all that stuff at all. Consider it vulgar. But a lot of people here are into it, especially the teens.

P,S, I would hate for my daughter or my boys (that seems unlikely, my boys listen to Jon and willingly follow everything he says, even the oldest) to get into body piercings - but Jon told me "Don't tell her how horrible it is and how you don't like it - too much, as she might do that just out of being a rebel. " She is only 10 right now, but you know - time goes fast. And there are a lot of things I am dreading to be honest - that my kids might get into when they are teens - clubbing (even though - been there, done that, got the T shirt myself - but still), tatoos, body piercings , dating someone black (yes, I am a racist, I find it hard to cope with that) and many other things.

P. S. By the way, the diamond in your picture seems of very poor quality — if it is indeed a diamond, looks more like a moissanite to be honest. If it is a diamond, it has a very shallow cut, it is called «fish eye» effect.

Stressful days. I hate them. You feel like you need a day off asap but it is the middle of the week and you still got plenty of work to do.
But you handled it well. And your CEO saw it. So it wasn't for nothing after all.

Thanks. I hate it when the men from Head Office come over, cause — it is like you are under a microscope and also — you can't get anything done properly, cause they are there all the time — sniffing around, talking to you, distracting you, etc. It #####s But yeah, he liked me — thank God.

Today I don't have time to go to a swimming pool unfortunately, so I'm going to make a 30 minutes training on my treadmill now.

Have a nice evening

It is such a lovely video. Tigers are so amazing and loving — when it comes to their own off spring. Lions sometimes eat their cubs — that is horrendous. But to be honest — with breast feeding — well. Before I had my kids, which was probably late by the Russian standards (I was 32 when I had my first one), I had never wanted any kids prior to that and some things happened in my first marriage (I'd rather not mention them, not particularly good things), but anyways — by the English standards — I was quite a young first time Mom, there were people in the hospital who were having babies — the first one — past forty, quite a lot of them — white women, Asians and Blacks have them much younger. And I have always looked much younger than my age anyway, at 32 sometimes they asked me for ID when I wanted to buy a bottle of wine in an off-licence (!!!). Anyways, when one does have a newborn — all of a sudden you bond with him/her straight away — it is very hormonal, and when you breast feed — it feels great — like you are on top of the world, tingles down your spine and you feel so emotional, I even cried from happiness- it is all hormonal of course. Women really get to feel like a mammal with childbirth, men don't. You know — that experience. To start off with — breast feeding is not easy, it is a technique, but here in England midwives teach you how to get it right to start off with and they don't let you give up until you get it right -some people call them here «breast feeding Nazis», cause some women just don't wanna do it, want to put their babies on the bottle straight away, cause it might spoil the look of their breasts or whatever. Here — as soon as you give birth, the baby is with you all the time, I was so surprised — you know — one is so tired after labour / Caesarean (mine were all Caesarean, but the first one wasn't planned, it was after nearly 4 days of labour) and that and they still place the baby in your arms and that is that. With Alex — when they put him on me — I thought I was gonna pass out (I had nearly 4 days labour and then an emergency Caesarean, I was scared I would drop him cause I was so exhausted, but I didn't of course.) They showed here some programmes from the Soviet Union and Russia and North Korea, where they take newborns away from their Moms and place them in a room together — here they consider that barbaric. Do they still do it in Russia? I hope not.
