Look at this news

Police called to home of Boris Johnson and girlfriend after reports of loud altercation

Police were called to the home of Boris Johnson and his partner Carrie Symonds in the early hours of Friday morning after a neighbour heard screaming during an apparent row between the couple.
Miss Symonds was reportedly heard telling Mr Johnson to «get off me» and «get out of my flat».
A neighbour living next door to Mr Johnson made a recording of the row before dialling 999, saying they were concerned for Miss Symonds' safety.
The neighbour, who is not identified, then passed the recording to the left-wing Guardian newspaper.

The Guardian already published the story as their «exclusive»

Boris Johnson: police called to loud altercation at potential PM's home
Exclusive: Neighbour records shouting and banging at flat MP shares with Carrie Symonds

The neighbour needs to get a life.

I live in a semi and a few years ago my neighbours at the time had frequent confrontations.
Through the walls one could sometimes pick up the gist of the argument but it was mostly just noise.
The detail published by the Guardian makes me think this was a bug — not a neighbour overhearing a row.

So a reported domestic dispute becomes national news... Led by the left-wing, Labour supporting, Guardian newspaper... Funny that.

@Jenny Rayter
Blowing things out of all possible proportion. Just like they do with Brexit.

John Cunningham 22 Jun 2019 7:30AM

@Jenny Rayter
Even the BBC distanced themselves from it.
What is most pathetic though are the remainer comments here.
We have to thank Brexit for teaching us what worthless, nasty people they are.

@Paul Browne
And then blowing it out of all proportion on a topic most people can relate to.
It calls the perspective of the media into doubt more than Boris.

He probably just got a bit pissed after winning the last round and making the last two. And had a tiff with his girlfriend. So what? People argue now and again. We are all human. Apparently, she got pissed off with him cause he spilled some red wine on her sofa. That is how the row started. Typical domestic situation. Now the lefties are going to blow it out of all proportion, making him out like he is «a domestic abuser». Pathetic.

Thanks, I slept all day, got up an hour ago and packed away (ate) a whole massive jar of green olives, stuffed with garlic and pepper. This is the first thing I ate since Thursday morning, Felt so ill, yesterday my head literally felt like cotton wool.

Just reading about Boris Johnson in Daily Mail. It is so funny.

People don't want to hear about that kind of thing!' Boris REFUSES to answer questions about 'plate-smashing, screaming row' with girlfriend Carrie as he is cheered by Tories at leadership hustings

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7169539...

Whilst reading the Daily Mail — I came across this article re Kate Moss — she is so stunning and ageless — amazing.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-71...

Just was looking at watches on the net again — what do you think about this Rolex GMT Master — 18K yellow gold, with rubies, diamonds and sapphires? I think it is absolutely stunning, it is for gents though. And «price on request», which means it is probably over £50K. Stunning watch.

There is even a video on youtube of somebody taking it out of the box

My daughter just came from a face painting party at her friend's house — it is her mate from drama school, she went to her house after the drama school today — here is the pic (I will delete it later). Do kids like face painting in Russia?

So happy.

P.S. Sometimes I envy my daughter (in a nice way obviously), kids - they don't need anything much to be happy, they don't need watches, etc. - they are just happy. Looking at my kids sometimes - I wish I was a kid again.

Some pics from recent ice shows in Japan.

Alina with retired figure skater from Japan Miki Ando.

Alina with Evgeni Plushenko

You know, Alina won all major figure skating titles both senior and junior. I don't know how she still has motivation to train so hard and to continue her skating career. May be her sponsors ask her do it.

Yeah, same here. I tried to load it in the early evening yesterday and it wouldn't load for ages, then came up with some «Bad gate 502» message.

Yes, she is quite a character as well, all my kids are. But she is very wilful, perhaps too much sometimes — I am scared of her becoming a teenager, cause she will give us a lot of worry and grief I suspect (I did as well when I was a teen to my parents, so … it'll be payback time. I remember my mom was saying to me when I was a teen «Wait till you have your own kids and they become teens — you will understand then what I have to be going through with you now). My boys also have a temper to be honest, my husband says all that comes from me — that I am a volatile character. He is probably right, as he is quite calm generally, has a very even personality.

Some men at work are laughing over the name of the model — GMT master. GMT means Greenwich Mean Time. So — that would suggest the high precision of Rolex watches, but in fact — the opposite is true. Most Rolexes lag behind 2 or 3 minutes on average even if one wears them all the time. You know how Automatic watches work (and Rolex doesn't do quartz, there probably was one or two quartz watches that Rolex made in their entire history of watchmaking). With automatics — there is a mechanism and it is not normally self winding (like with most mechanical watches, where there is also a mechanism). It feeds off your hand movement. As long as you wear it, it goes. When you stop wearing it, it stops -well, most will keep ticking for 24 hours after, but then they will stop. That is why so many people who buy automatics cause of prestige but don't know jackshit about them, get scared that their watch has broken down, but all that happened is they put it in the box and it stopped ticking, cause it is automatic. Before 1988 Rolex used to use the movement from Zenith (calibre 4030, based on Zenith El Primero), then they started using their own. Zenith was in fact better, and a lot of vintage pieces with Zenith in it became collectibles because of that. Anyway, sorry I am going on about watches. A lot of the conversations at work — apart from the actual work — are about watches and politics. That is the boring environment I happen to hang around in.

You know — to be so successful consistently - apart from determination, hard work, etc. — requires another major quality — it is the ability to stay grounded (that means that you don't let your success go to your head, you don't «rest on your laurels».) She obviously has all those qualities. Amazing.

Nice light little summer holiday track — not too new, but popular here during summer time — they play it a lot at the moment — I think the girl singer is Russian (judging by the name)

You know you almost quoted Eteri. She spends a lot of time explaining her students how important it is to keep your head cool.
"Ты сошёл с подиума, и ты никто. Пока не докажешь всё на следующем старте. У тебя есть прошлая медаль, но это никак не поможет тебе в будущем».

She is exaggerating here a bit of course.
