I think we are definitely heading for Brexit — full swing by the end of October, the deadline is 31st of October now (Halloween ) — deal or no deal. This is what Raab said (do you remember he resigned as Brexit Secretary in May's Government, cause she was giving in too much to the EU demands over Irish backstop), he is one of the front runners for the Tory leader (If Boris wins, I am sure he will be in his Government)

'Tory party will be toast' unless Britain leaves EU in October, says Dominic Raab

We were supposed to go to a big event in the Golf Club, but didn't, cause my oldest came back from his «Wild Child» thing in Germany this morning totally tired and my husband came from Portugal — totally knackered as well, so we had a huge roast dinner, kids gave him presents and then we all had a big sleep — well, they did, me and my daughter made a chocolate cake, they just ate it and went to the Common to play football.

Hi, I’m fine thanks.
I hope you are recovering fast after the event. I am glad you and your family had a happy Father's Day.
We don’t have Father’s Day here in Russia. We have Defender of the Fatherland Day on 23st February instead.

I heard at the Discovery channel (or some similar channel about animals) that lions have different personalities only in their childhood. What a load of bullsh*t. Why would they lose their personalities in their adulthood? Life is hard in the wilds their personalities change in time, but I doubt that all adult lions in the wilds behave the same

Remember Veronika Zhilina — another future star from Eteri camp? She presented a new program for Ice Age Kids show a few days ago. What a cutie)

And Nicolai Kolesnikov. I hope you'll like him too

Btw, do you know that lion cubs have dark spots on their fur? You can trace the signs of these spots on the fur of the young lions. That's how you can easily differ a young lioness from an adult lioness. Young one is almost as big as an adult lioness, but she has some pale spots on her fur here and there

I am. I ran 8 miles this morning as well, I am already preparing for another event. Had to get up at 5 am to do it, but I find it good — to get it done first thing in the morning, as if I do it in the evening — I get all whizzed up and eat a lot after, cause there is a big gap between lunch and say — after work, then a run in the evening, etc — and it is not the food that bothers me, I find it hard to gain weight, it is the fact that then I find it hard to get a good night's sleep.

Yeah, it was good. My husband is an excellent Dad, he has always been very «hands on» Dad even when our kids were tiny  babies— changed nappies, bathed them when they were babies and all that (I wish I could post some pics of just him with the kids — he looks amazing, very good looking man and the pics are gorgeous, but I just feel guilty, he has no idea I posted our pics here, if he knew he might not like it at all), the kids are always «Daddy, Daddy, Daddy this and Daddy that», the boys worship him. He has been taking the oldest everywhere with him since he was tiny, bought him kids' golf clubs when he was like — 4 or 5, now he is taking them both everywhere (the boys, Vicky is more with me, but he loves her to bits as well). I am very lucky with Jon — not all fathers are like that, a lot of them are quite detached from fatherhood with their own kids, let alone the fact that in some families kids don't even have a proper Dad cause their parents are divorced.

Yeah, I know that one. It is just that now in Russia everyone is into Church and Orthodox Christianity, I thought that some new holidays might have appeared, as Father's Day in England is somehow related to the Anglican Church, I don't remember the whole story about it, which I am ashamed to admit.

How do you mean? Of course a baby lion will have a different personality from an adult lion. Just like us — kids differ from adults, kids are innocent, helpless, they rely on their parents. When puberty comes, they start to lose that innocence and try to establish themselves as grown ups, etc.

As regards lions — what I noticed is well, they are very cute when they are tiny, but when they grow up — they are not as beautiful and cute. Unlike tigers — they stay cute — looks wise — when they grow up as well. Tiger cubs are like miniature big tigers. Whereas lion cubs are cute, but when they grow up — they kind of lose their beauty. Well, to me it seems that way.

Yeah, I remember her. She is the one who answered «It's me» to the question «Who is your favourite skater?» But the way she answered was totally innocent, like she believed it and not like she is just full of herself (arrogant), etc. It was ultra cute.

So she is Daenerys, the Mother of Dragons from GoT. She even looks like Emilia Clarke — the British actress who portrayed her

You know what used to make me laugh about some Russians on this forum — they slag off the Brits, saying «they are ugly», their culture is ugly, but they follow their culture in their country down to a T — the songs, the movies, the characters, the actors and actresses etc. There used to be this Sophie Ru on the forum — she hated the English with venom, but had Emilia Clarke on her avatar. Or Stavr — another «patriot», who had Hugh Laurie on his avatar. I started a thread with a question «Why do patriots who post Anglophobic threads have the English famous actors and actresses on their avatars», they then removed those avatars and after — they removed themselves from this forum as well. All these reality TV talent shows like the Voice, X Factor, America/Britain/Russia got talent, Kids on ice — were invented in Great Britain, the licences were then bought in most countries around the world. Not to mention «Who wants to be a millionaire? «, etc. etc.

It wasn't trolling, I genuinely found it a bit befuddling — how can some people slag off the culture of the people they draw so much from? I mean — one might be jealous of the English, consider them arrogant and all that (for no reason, mind), but they don't slag them off quite like some Russians here do — anywhere in the world, and I have been and lived around the world. It must be their propaganda or lack of their own culture or just pure jealousy.

They try to implement Father's Day in Ukraine. Zelenski congratulated everybody with Father's Day a few days ago.

I am glad to be an inspiration. You have to do it all — sports, work, go to a pub and get pissed as well now and again, you name it. Live life to the full — work hard, play hard — that should be the motto. With me - I am enrolled into those charity running events which I participate in with the people I have known for quite a few years and I can't let them down. Sometimes I don't feel like it, but then I think about them and don't want to let them down and I go - and then I feel good about myself, like - I did something good for the community. If I was just running on my own - to lose weight or something (like some people do) -I wouldn't have had the motivation I don't think, cause I don't gain weight easily anyway. I showed some of my pics to Aska here on the forum and she told me in Russia they call my figure “сухостой” - whatever it means - like - you are one of those lucky ones who don't gain weight. This is me a couple of years ago with my kids in Richmond Park - I didn't run at all at the time - had a foot injury.
