Eteri haters say that she picks only very pretty model-like girls.
I think it is bullsh*t because she pics them at the age of 7. And you can't say that this 7 yo girl will look like a model at her 15th birthday.

I saw some people call him Sean. I was like huh? Is it diminitive name for Shaun? And why he spells his name like "Shaun"?

I don't think you can predict what a 7 year old would look like at 15, there are some «ugly ducklings» who don't look much at 7 but grow up to be the most beautiful swans and vice versa.
I don't get it — why are you so bothered with what «Eteri haters» think, it sounds like such a boring pastime to be honest. To be bothered with stuff like that.

To be honest — I feel sorry for haters, any haters hating out of jealousy — especially. Of course it is better to be beautiful + talented and not just talented + ordinary looking. But again — the beauty is in the eye of the beholder — beauty standards change all the time, people's perceptions change, etc. Even a century ago — some women were considered beautiful who now would be considered short, ugly and obese. Just an example. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.

You know — I say a lot «they are just jealous», etc. About jealousy. Out of all our sins jealousy is probably the hardest one to cope with. Cause we are programmed to be competitive. We are programmed to want to look good, have more money, enjoy life, smile, etc. And the thing is — there is always, ALWAYS, someone around you in the world — who is more beautiful, richer, younger, has more capable kids, et cettera, etc. etc. For example — take Alena, Alyona, and others you are posting. I can tell you and that is God's honest truth — in my life I have seen girls who are more beautiful than them. And I can assure you that there probably are those who are more beautiful than the ones I have seen. It is absolutely endless. If you keep hating others for being richer, more famous, more beautiful than yourself or somebody else, etc. — you might as well go and hang yourself up now. That hating feeling out of jealousy is painful and time wasting for those who experience it in the first place.

I have a life long friend, she is an Orthodox Jew, a very very wise woman, she is a bit older than me and she always says to me that «Jealousy is the single cause of all the problems in the world.»
But we all experience it in our lives at some point or other.
Things that can help one fight jealousy is going to church or talking to old people. For example, my mother in law was extremely beautiful when she was young, she had ups and downs in her life of course, but she collected a lot of nice things, lived a very high life, met a lot of famous people along the way, had handsome lovers (after her husband died), etc. And she is very old now. And she says that once you get old you understand — that looks, richesse, etc. — it is all «froth and bubble» (this is what Princess Diana used to say as well) — you lose your looks along your life and you can't take anything you have into your grave. She always says «possessions possess you» — because you spend so much of your life chasing things and in the end you come to the conclusion that they mean absolutely nothing. We are all equal in front of God. We will leave this place with one and the only item we came into it with — our soul, all the rest will stay here and rot here — our bodies, our material possessions, etc. Last Sunday when we attended the Easter service — the Anglican priest talked about it a lot.

Sorry, didn't mean to preach, I feel very philosophical today. I hope you don't mind.

Shaun and Shawn are the Anglo Gaelic equivalents of the pure Irish Gaelic Sean (Gaelic has zillions of versions — Welsh, Irish, Scottish, Cornish and so on) — he probably chose «Shaun» cause that way — it is easier for foreigners to pronounce his name correctly, he is an international journalist after all. Well, I am just guessing of course.

>> P. S. The great weather is over here in the UK, the so called Storm Hannah ended it. We get the tail end (drags) of any storms that happen in the Atlantic you see, although not as badly as the Americans do. At the moment it is very windy, some trees fell down and there are some 30,000 houses without power in the UK. And it is windy and overcast tomorrow in London, which is great — for the marathon and just 14C — that is fantastic. Last year it was sunny and hot and it made it a lot harder to run — London 2018 was the hottest marathon on record (I believe a couple of people died even). Tomorrow is London Marathon!!!

I was under the impression that all the Russian Church holidays were two weeks past the Catholic /Anglican (protestant) celebrations — like Christmas. And Easter turned out to be only one week apart. Interesting.

Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I'd prefer if scientists worked on making our lives longer than making us look prettier. Probably, it's much harder

Because I can't block them all, so their stupid posts erupt in my twitter/tumblr from time to time. Probably it's like Brexit for you. You are fed up with it already, but sometimes smth happens and it is so stupid or alarming that you want to share it with other people.

You are right, I'd pronounce Sean as «син». I bet he got sick and tired to hear «sin» during 14 years he spent in Russia.

Genetic engineering works on all of it — at the same time — battling terminal diseases (like Cancer), living longer, looks, the works — it is rather strange to hear, that you only thought of «looking prettier». You keep posting pictures of pretty girls, which is delightful, but why? Are you a bad looking person or girl or whatever? Sorry, but I really just thought to myself — there is f uck all I know about you, but I posted a shit load about myself — my experiences, my pictures, my family pictures, etc. So -the question is begging to be asked — what are you up to? What is your game exactly?

Is that like «sin» or «seen» or what? In any case, it is Sean. That is the way it is pronounced. Sorry for being so touchy, but a member of my family, my Godson -Irish Jo's son is called Sean. That must be some sort of «син» in the eyes of a Russian «patriot», eh?

Why I thought of looking prettier? Becasue your post was more about changing appearances rather than fighting cancer.

I keep posting skaters because I'm their fan)

My game? I already told you — to have some fun and to practice my English.
