Redhead (Expat),
Alyona's vampire EX was truly worth the wait for me. The second half was really something else, and she pulled it off wonderfully considering she is training only for 2 weeks after her injury. And this style is new for her.

Not just pretty faces, but great performers too.

It is a fantastic performance — she did pull it off. You must be very happy. I must admit — I am also very happy, the Easter feeling, sunshine, family around — it is fantastic.

Here is to happiness, cheers all around

Great. Are people on the figure skating forums hating the successful Russian skaters so much that you have to praise them here all the time? In any case, I am on your side, cause I just love the performances, they are great.

Well, it is visible Alena is not in her best form yet, this program will really be better after she works on choreo and regains her competitive form. I'm not sure It can be counted as praising. It's more like let's give her some time it will get even better.

P.S. Alena is the least hated Eteri girl. And her fan threads usually have more pages than 90% of top senior skaters.

But since this thread is about figure skating and anything we like, I think making positive posts here about Alena is appropriate )

It wasn't that visible to me, I just enjoyed watching her, cause I liked her from the start. I am a bit stupid to be honest- I don't go into details — like Ebolasha said a while ago — «Redhead 's judgement is very simple — like/not like, beautiful/not beautiful». He was right to an extent, but that's because on the forum I am just simplistic, not making any effort, cause I do too much of it at work — my job is very customer service based and the sums involved are huge, so I am constantly stressed at work, I don't see why I should be like that on the forum — they say in the City that front office jobs are only cut out for those who can thrive on stress, and yeah — I thrive on it, but at work — cause people there are different, the culture is different, they are much sharper than people on the forum for example.

You aren't)

There were some imperfections here and there and her jumping passes were much easier than she usually does

She tried to make her usual routine at the begining of the show but she failed unfortunately

Still it was a pretty good skate for someone who is still recovering from an injury. Sometimes it takes more than a month to regain jumps.
So Alena had to switch to much easier routine in the 2nd part of the show.

Speaking of haters. Today Elena Vaitsehovskaya — a journalist who was leading anti-Eteri campain in Russia since 2014 — was stripped of her accreditation by Figure Skating Federation of Russia. To be more precise her accreditation wasn't prolonged. Many figure skating fans (me included) rejoiced about it

P. S. Just deleted my post about Zac Goldsmith, as it is a bit personal re friendships, etc. It is just I post his pic here a lot and that video about The True Face of Europe, shot by his Dad years ago, people are probably thinking «Why is she doing that?», so I thought I would explain. I couldn't before, as it is just too personal — who knows who, etc.

Good. But I think these days people pay too much attention to who said what about whom on social media, etc. Music fans are the same — they get too much into these feuds on the net fuelled by haters and fans about music stars, etc. Looking at it from the side — it is like haters and fans are fuelling each other. But I guess — both camps in the end — end up PR ing sports stars/music stars, etc. — in their own way.
