Well, not yet. In light of May siding with Corbyn — trying to find a solution to the deadlock, she decided to move her red lines in favour of Softer Brexit. Soft Brexit is nonsense, it is worse than the deal that we have now, worse than the status quo, totally not worth it. Includes the freedom of movement as a consequence of the UK being in the Customs Union. The whole point was to get out or to stay in fully. Staying in fully is better than the Customs Union, as the UK has considerable rights in the EU — for example it has vetoed for years their attempts at further integration — like having their own army, etc. With Softer Brexit — we are going to be part of the Customs Union, having to pay them money, accepting their rules including the freedom of movement. The reason that the Tory Brexiteers didn't wanna accept her deal is because Northern Ireland would have been in the Customs Union (unlike the rest of the UK — we are on one island, they are on the island of Ireland with this border issue, etc.). She has continuously promised we wouldn't be in the Customs Union. Softer Brexit is being in the same position as Turkey.
What happened was — Evette Cooper's (Labour Nazi) amendment to put «No deal» into the law was voted through in the House of Commons with the majority of one vote. Now there is a huge backlash happening in Westminster for two reasons: Number one — leaving with or without a deal was already enrolled into statute (for that to happen, the bill has to go through the House of Commons, then through the House of Lords and then be stamped by the Queen — all that happened before as regards leaving on the 29th of March with or without a deal) and this bill which was already made the law of the land is now being walked all over by this «proposed new law». It is in effect vandalising the Constitution and legislative process in this country. Secondly, for any bill to become a law — a reasonable debate time should be allowed — usually months, this was passed in four hours. And thirdly, it was passed by the majority of just one vote (!)and in the Labour Party — there is this black MP, who was sentenced to prison, as she committed a crime — I think it was to do with driving, speeding or whatever, but it was grave enough for her to be sentenced to prison. And she was allowed to vote — which is crazy. So that one illegal vote could be hers.
At the moment London is full of police on standby, so is Northern Ireland cause rioting is expected, etc.

The whole thing with Brexit — was to do it properly or not do it at all. Soft Brexit is worse than the status quo. Hard Brexit — risky, but unknown and could be a success, providing it was done in a skilful way. I voted against Brexit, but we all would have accepted Hard Brexit (apparently there was a poll by Yougov — and the whole of England and Wales apart from London would not mind leaving with No Deal and would rather do that than Soft Brexit - https://www.bbc.com/russian/news-47811160
) and now I think I did the right thing, cause the majority of the politicians in Westminster do not respect democracy and are leading us to a much worse situation than we are in now. But it is not the end game, we are in unprecedented circumstances and we just do not know what is gonna happen. The EU want us to leave — but in name only (Soft Brexit), they want our markets for their goods and they want our money, but they don't want us to stir shit inside the EU structures and would rather we didn't take part in the EU elections in May and accepted their terms and «left». This is a win win for the EU at the moment and total crap for the UK, cause we have a spineless disgusting Theresa May in power. Now DUP said they would accept the Customs Union with the EU, because it will keep the UK together with them. Those muppets do not care about anything else but staying part of the UK, they are the Irish Unionists, they just didn't wanna be part of the Customs Union without the rest of the UK.
In light of the circumstances, we would have been much better off not having that wretched referendum in the first place. Anyway — like I said — this is not the end, there is a lot to come. May's position is very weak, and now she betrayed her Party — it is weaker than ever. Watch this space in the next couple of weeks, things should become a little clearer, this whole palaver is finally reaching some sort of crunch point.

There is also this scandal going on at the moment about Jeremy Corbyn's picture being used as a target for shooting exercises by the British Army soldiers.

I heard about it. My first thought was imagine if Russian army used Navalny photo like this. It would be all over the mainstream news already.

It's like you have the same obligations when you were EU member but you don't have same rights. This deals smells like shit and looks like shit. Theresa May has a good chance to end up as the worst PM ever.

Some wankers figure skating observers who have 15 000 subscirbers on youtube are spreading gossips that Eteri hired Sergei Rosanov because she needs a new pretty boy

OMG, he brings results, her team brings results. Why can't she hire him just because he is a good-looking person? Eteri plays a role of strict and demanding coach, Daniil and Sergei act like kind and supportive coaches and it's working.

P.S. That's a photo of that figure scating observer

Don't be silly, what are you on about? It was all over the mainstream news over here and Sky News is a mainstream news outlet as well in case you didn't know, it is just harder to find anything from the BBC channels on youtube (anything that has just come out), cause BBC is licensed, Sky News isn't.

Bingo. May is the worst PM ever, diabolical for the Tory PArty and this country I would say. But even IF (and that's a big if), she achieves her agenda (which is effectively — REmain at all costs), there will be a fightback over here, it will not be a permanent victory. It will just take a bit longer for the proper Brexit to happen. Thing is the Brexit genie is out of the bottle and it is floating around in the air and no matter how much many would love to stuff it back into the bottle, it is not possible.

He looks queer to me («queer» is Cockney slang for «gay»)and don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against gays in general, but some of them are renowned for being very bitchy and jealous when it comes to good looking straight (meaning «not gay») men. I could tell you a couple of very funny stories from real life about it, but just don't have time right now. I am not taking lunch today, taking a short break right now to have something to eat, as I am leaving work early today to go to my oldest son's school end of term Assembly (it is very very special this year) — they are breaking up for Easter holidays today, my littlest two are also breaking up, but my husband is going to attend their last day of term Assembly. As I can't be in two places at once and I always end up attending my littlest two's school and hardly ever my oldest son's and my husband — the other way around (this time we decided we will swap). There will be two weeks Easter school holidays as from Monday. We were supposed to go on City breaks — to Switzerland and Italy, but having taken on this new role at work, I don't have any holiday and can't take any holiday at the moment. There will be a couple of extra days for Good Friday and Bank Holiday Easter Monday and we will probably go to Ireland — to my husband's relatives — nothing special, will be on a farm in the middle of nowhere in Cork countryside (County of Cork) for a couple of days- just spending time with family and leave the kids with them for a week.
I don't have any proper holidays till July now, we will spend a couple of weeks in the South of Spain, maybe visit Portugal from there, we will see. Switzerland will have to wait till later in the year, but that's even better — we will go skiing or something — late Autumn, as I really miss the snow.

Got to go now, have a lovely day.) I might not be around on the forum much in the next two weeks, as — too much going on at the moment — both at home and at work, just no time at all.

You were right about him. I bet it isn't hard to guess. In figure skating there are a lot of gay skaters, some of them are nice people, some of them are not. This jerk is one of them.
Just before 2018 Olympics he started to spread rumors about Ksenia Stolbova (a Russian pair skater) that she was under investigation after Sochi Olymips. She never was under any investigation and no figure skater was ever caught on using doping, but despite that facts Ksenia wasn't invited to the Olympics. Her team was strong and had some chances to win gold. It was a serious blow for Russian team, also her partner lost his motivation, soon after that she got injured and decided to finish her career.

That is seriously one of the nastiest things I have heard someone doing to someone else — in my life (I mean the twat and his campaign against Ksenia). Why wasn't she invited to the Olympics — why do those concerned pay so much attention to all sorts of groundless rumours like that? So much so — that it ruins someone's successful career. It is hard to get one's head around such a horrible turn of events. Poor Ksenia. This is really horrible.

As you know, Russian sports officials completely f*ed up with that doping scandal. So Olympic Committee banned Russia from 2018 Olympics. They made a decision that only clean athletes from Russia with perfect reputation should be invited as OARs (olympic athlete from Russia). So bad gossips prevented Ksenia from taking part in the Olympics, unfortunately.
Kseina fans all over the world lost their mind because of that. That guy even received some death threats. I really don't like him but I don't approve their behavior. As far as I remember he deleted his posts/videos about Ksenia but it was too late. Btw, he also didn't apologize to Ksenia for spreading bad gossips about her.

Well, they still shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush, as they say.
«Tar with the same brush» — is the idiom we have here:

tar (someone or something) with the same brush
To unfairly categorize someone or something as being the same as another person or thing, usually in a negative manner. Ex. Just because the CEO turned out to be a rotten scoundrel doesn't mean we should tar the entire company with the same brush. There is absolutely a segment of video game enthusiasts who create a hostile and toxic environment online, but tarring all gamers with the same brush does a disservice to the community.

P. S am very busy at the moment and tired beyond belief (very hectic at work, plus preparing for this year's London marathon plus it is school holidays). Today I nearly fainted at work, going tomorrow morning to my GP as an emergency. He is probably gonna prescribe me some iron tablets, cause I am a bit anaemic (have iron deficiency — that is of my own doing. It started after my three pregnancies — which were every two years apart at one point and all were Caesarean deliveries, I lost a lot of blood back then, and after — I was stupid enough to become a vegetarian and didn't eat meat for 2 years. It was trendy and fashionable to be a vegetarian, so I thought — why not, I don't like meat anyway. Then at one point I started feeling very tired, they took my bloods at the GP surgery and said I should go back to eating meat and take iron tablets for a long time — to build my iron levels back up and forget about being a vegetarian). I try to eat meat and all that, but somehow — I still have this now and again — this anaemia thing. Iron tablets didn't do much for me, so I stopped taking them nearly a year ago, probably shouldn't have done, but there you go — tomorrow the GP will tell me off.
Also, we are having our relatives from Sheffield over with their kids (my husband's cousin Jo lost her Dad not long ago), it is constantly noisy and crazy here. Instead of going to Ireland ourselves, Jon's other cousin who lives in Ireland is coming over this weekend, will take our kids to Ireland (she is the one who got married to an Irishman, remember I told you), and bring them back the weekend after — Good Friday this year falls on the 19th, Easter weekend right at the end of the school holidays. A few years ago we always got away for Easter holidays, these days — since my mother in law started having heart problems all the time — everyone comes to visit us on Easter holidays instead, a couple of years ago we had his uncle from the States, etc. She is a very prominent member of the extended family, all my husband's female cousins in the family are named after her. But she is so frail, she can't travel anymore herself and when people come over to see her, they go and see her but end up spending most of their time with us.
Maybe we will get some rest next week when the house is a bit quieter. But work is very hectic, which is good, we are doing a lot of business, I am surprised to be honest — I thought our business would suffer a lot since my previous manager left — but we are doing very well at the moment, especially if you take into consideration the prolonged uncertainty of Brexit, etc.
